1980
Kent Machine exists because of our passion for delivering the products innovative businesses need to thrive.
Back in 1980, our founder Harold Kennedy was working for Chrysler and saw a gap in the American manufacturing market: no one was providing the type high-quality machining service, competitive prices, or turnaround times needed. So he started Kent Machine, Inc. (“Kent” is short for “Kennedy Tool.”) to better serve the automotive industry.
The future looks brighter. In 2024, Kent Machine was acquired by a new ownership group, which will empower us to offer a more diverse array of manufacturing services while maintaining the quality—and the service—our partners have come to rely on.
